丁男友從朋友那裡訂了兩包西班牙火腿,薄薄兩包很珍貴,我們便試了幾個吃法,將西班牙火腿的美味最大化。

Mr. Ding purchased two different kinds of Spanish ham(Jamón) from his friend. We tried a few ways to taste the previous ham. We hope we did use the right way to enjoy it LOL

 

左邊是塞拉諾火腿,一包250元/100克。右邊是伊比利風乾前腿切片,一包530元/100克。色澤跟臺灣火腿很不一樣。

Spanish Serrano Ham is on the left. It costs TWD 250 for 100 grams. On the right is NICO Jamones. It's TWD 530 for a hundred gram. The color is very different from Taiwan ham. 

 

原味 Original 

聽朋友說西班牙人喜歡吃火腿原味,我們便先嚐嚐火腿的原味。

Mr. Ding's friend told him that Spanish likes to eat ham directly to enojy its pure flavor and smell, so we decided to give it a try. 

這是伊比利前腿肉風乾火腿。聞起來有股木屑的香氣,雖然薄薄的但口感上無法一咬就斷,很像在咀嚼筋,非常韌。味道上層次十足,一開始有點酸味,肉的木屑香和鹹味會隨著咀嚼慢慢出來,每口味道上都不太一樣。這種感覺不是臺灣火腿會有的。

Let's taste NICO Jamones. It tastes a little bit like sawdust, in a good way. Though the slice is thin, you cannot melt it in your mouse. It's really chewy so you have to give it a few bites. It has so many layers of flavors! Sourness at first, sawdust, and savory gradually. Every bite has different flavor. It's not something we've tasted before. 

這是塞拉諾火腿切片,顏色比較淡,聞起來有股淡淡的麵包香,味道層次比較少,以鹹為為主,但也是好吃。

This is Spanish Serrano Ham. The color is not as dark as NICO Jamones. It smells like bread, and it doesn't have as many layers of flavor as NICO Jamones, mostly savory. It's good overall. 

火腿加起司 Ham with Cheese

再來搭配起司吃,因為超市找不到一塊的只好找一片的來搭配。

This is mozzarella in slices. We roll the ham with cheese. 

西班牙火腿本身油脂豐富,嚼起來會很黏稠跟起司混在一起,兩者很搭了,但稍稍偏鹹。網路上他們好像會配葡萄酒但我們沒有哈哈!

Spanish ham is rich with fat. The ham and cheese altogether provides a rich and creamy texture. It's a little bit salty. We've seen people at ham and cheese along with red wine, unfortunately,  we don't drink LOL

麵包夾火腿 Ham with Bread

再嘗試搭配麵包吃,將烤酥的法國麵包與融掉的起司片加入火腿。

We bake the bread to crispy and put the ham and cheese in it. 

我們每條都夾火腿與起司,一開始有點分不太出來起司和火腿味,但嚼一嚼火腿獨有的香氣還是會顯現,以後應該不要擺起司看看。但是這樣吃好好吃。

The more bites we've had, the more we could taste the flavor of the ham. 

配上微苦的咖啡,絕配。

飯糰

以上都是網路推薦吃法,但我們用來做飯糰!也很配哈哈。

起司火腿夾入飯中,再整片火腿包在外層,頗奢侈的吃法。

火腿起司與飯糰融合在一起,保有米飯甜甜的味道,其實滿好吃的哈哈好吃又好玩

今天的火腿得來不易,但就我們努力之下,也算是物盡其用了哈哈,西班牙火腿的香氣真的棒,其實上次逛美式賣場也有看到在賣,大家不妨買來試試,也開發屬於我們自己的吃法。

 

小朋友也有嚐嚐味道但她吃不下去,咬不斷。
