一訪經驗

今天預計買一桶炸雞回家當晚餐，離開運動中心約莫下午3:50分，打電話給炸雞大獅先預訂一桶炸雞再過去拿。電話裡老闆娘非常親切的介紹全雞餐有449跟499兩種，差別在於449的炸全雞是16塊炸雞，而499除了16塊炸雞外還有附ＱＱ棒(長型地瓜球)、炸薯條跟四杯飲料。差50元多那麼多東西，當然是要選499的全雞餐呀！

We planned to have fried chicken for dinner today. It was around 15:50 when we left the gym. We called the restaurant in advance so we can pick it up upon arrival. The owner explained patiently about the menu in details. There're two kinds of "Whole Chicken Feast", one is NTD 449 and the other is NTD 499. The difference is that the latter includes not only 16 pieces of fried chicken but also 4 bottles of drinks, French fries, and fried sweet potato snack. Of course, we selected the NTD 499 meal since it's such a great deal. 

到了店裡約莫下午4:05，餐點已經快準備好了。等待之餘便與老闆娘閒聊起來。看到炸油鍋上面有“清真專用”的字樣，老闆娘說先生是埃及人，自己也是穆斯林所以才想要做清真食物，給更多穆斯林一起分享美食。

Dingo姐姐：這裏來購買的外國人多嗎？

老闆娘：蠻多的，畢竟淡水清真食物很少。這種炸雞肉會比較嫩，尤其雞胸肉比較不會柴。

我們在淡水晃那麼久，身為一個土生土長的淡水Dingo姐姐，也不知道淡水哪裡有清真食物，以後有伊斯蘭教朋友來就可以推薦一下了！

After 15 minutes, we arrived at the restaurant, and the meal was almost ready. We saw this "Halal Only" sign in the kitchen so we started asking more about it. The owner said that she and her husband, an Egyptian, are both Muslim, so she've decided to make Halal food and share it with more Muslims in Taiwan. We asked if there were lots of foreginers visiting this restaurant. The owner said yes since there's only few Halal restaurant in Tamshui. "Halal fried chicken is tender, especial the chicken breast, said the owener. 

Both Mr. Ding and I found it really cool since it's the first time we knew a Halal fried chicken restaurant in Tamshui. We know what to suggest our Muslim friends when they visit Tamshui next time!

回到家馬上開箱：16塊雞肉＋四杯檸檬紅茶＋炸薯條＋ＱＱ棒 (Dingo奶奶說要沾胡椒比較好吃，但Dingo姐姐覺得單吃已經有味道了，奶奶吃重鹹)。炸雞很酥脆，愛吃脆皮的朋友會喜歡。雞胸肉也像老闆娘說的一樣不會太柴。ＱＱ棒的吃起來很像夜市地瓜球的長條版，炸薯條是Dingo姐姐喜歡的馬鈴薯美式薯條。

丁男友吃完之後說我們之前在台大吃過炸雞大獅的招牌臻寶炸雞台式椒鹽口味，很像精緻台式鹽酥雞，加上滿滿的蔥花很香，他比較喜歡那款。

Unboxing: There're 16 pieces of fried chicken + 4 bottles of drinks, French fries, and fried sweet potato snack. My grandma preferred having it with pepper but I found it delicious as it was. The fried chicken was crispy. You'll love it if you love crispy fried chicken. The chicken breast was tender as the owner said. The fried sweet potato snack was a lot like the fried sweet potato balls we had in night markets. The French fries is the American style, and we like it. 

After tasting it, Mr. Ding said he preferred the Jimbo Cutle which we had in Fried Chicken Master at the NTU branch. It was like Taiwanese salty crispy chicken with lots of chopped green onion. The flavor was really good. 

整體評價：服務很好，地點也方便，建議先打電話預約後再直接去拿，可以省下等待的時間。第一次在淡水看到主打清真炸雞的店(說不定之前有只是我不知道)。這是新開的，喜歡嚐鮮的朋友可以先從招牌臻寶系列吃起。

Overall Review: The service was great. The location is good. We suggest you call and make a reservation in advance. It's the first time we saw a Halal fried chicken restaurant in Tamshui. There're probably more but we haven't discovered them. It's a new restaurant. You can start with the Jimbo Cutle to see if you like the flavor. 

二訪經驗

隔了好久，我們又再度光顧炸雞大獅淡大店囉!!!今天就來買招牌臻寶系列。我們點了台式椒鹽(左)和川味麻辣(右)。

台式椒鹽本身的調味沒有很重，但配料蒜、蔥都很好吃，搭配炸雞吃很不錯。炸雞本身醃漬得很有味道，肉很軟嫩，皮也薄博的，非常好吃。

川味麻辣的調味也不會太辣，微微的麻辣吃起來很過癮，丁男友很喜歡這款，還一直撿大蒜來吃哈哈。

簡單的二訪經驗：招牌臻寶系列算是很不錯的餐點，雖然份量稍稍少了一點，但在口感和調味上都很不錯，下次再訪還是會點一兩分來過過癮!
