今天丁哥姐姐和丁男友去嘗試一家他路過很多次的牛肉麵,兩人吃完覺得不虛此行,想跟大家分享一下。這家店位子新生南路路邊,滿好找的,一個大大的紅色招牌。
Mr. Ding and I went to this beef noodles restaurant the other day. Mr. Ding said he noticed this restaurant a long time ago but never gave it a try. 
After tasting the beef noodles here, we both liked it so much that we regretted hadn't come here earlier.
The restaurant is on Xinsheng South Road with a big red sign.   
 
店外玻璃櫥窗寫著牛肉麵節五星,真的很誘人,我們就被吸進去了。
The poster below shows the restaurant won the 5-star award at the Taipei Beef Noodle Festival.  We were attracted to the restaurant at the first sight LOL
這家看菜單真的是主打牛肉麵的店家,其他類的產品相對不多,但從主食到各種牛肉切盤都有,看了很心動。但礙於兩個人而已,就先從牛肉麵來吃看看。
The menu below shows the main dishes in the restaurant is beef noodles. It doesn't have a variety of items. 
However, besides the beef noodles soup, it offers braised beef! We wanted to try it but it's a little bit pricy so we figured having a beef noodles soup this time and if it tastes good, we will come back and try out other dishes. 
 
飯前先去拿小菜,有小黃瓜,豆干小魚乾,豆芽等。
 For side dishes, it has cucumbers, stir-fried anchovies, bean sprouts, etc,. 
我們拿了一盤小魚乾豆干,和一些些牛油辣椒。豆干本身很好吃,小魚乾也是很有味道的,裡面還有微量的辣椒用青辣椒點綴。吃的時候沾一些牛油辣椒味道層次會增加很多,小菜和調味都很香。
We had stir-fried anchovies with beef oil pepper. The dried tofu was delicious, and so were the anchovies. The beef oil gave the dish another layer of flavor. It smelt really good and the spice provided a small kick on the tongue which was right at the point. We LOVED this! 
再來是重頭戲啦!牛肉麵我們兩人各點了一碗,140一碗這樣的價格在台北算是非常划算的,高cp值餐點。看起來還蔥花滿滿很有誠意。
And here comes the highlight! We ordered two beef noodles soup. It cost TWD 140 each, and it's a fair price in Taipei City. On top of the beef noodles, spread with lots of chopped green onion. 
這碗麵的麵條是粗拉麵,嚼勁很夠,吃起來很有飽足感。湯頭牛肉香非常濃郁,個人覺得湯其實是紅燒的濃郁,清燉的陳澈,味道介在兩者中間,會讓人想多喝,不覺得膩口。牛肉屬於比較有嚼勁的肉,吃起來要花比較多力氣,但跟湯汁泡在一起很有味道,份量上也很多。
The noodle was thick ramen. It was chewy, and we all felt very full after finishing it all. The soup was rich with the beef scent. I think the soup was a combination of braised noodles soup and stewed noodles soup. It had the richness of beef from the braised noodles soup and the lightness of the stewed noodles soup. We wanted more and more after one taste. 
The beef was chewy, so it took us some effort to eat them. There were around 5 or 6 pieces in total. 
我們還點了燙青菜,給出來一大盤,我們都嚇到了,比丁哥姐姐的拳頭還大。燙青菜本身味道一般,但丁男友找到好的出吃法,就是泡牛肉湯一起吃下去,畢竟原本的牛肉麵沒有青菜,泡下去不論口感還是食物色彩都加分。
We also ordered boiled vegetables. We were frightened when seeing it. That was a lot of vegetables!! The taste was average but Mr. Ding found a better way to consume it: Add the vegetables in the beef noodles soup. Originally, there wasn't any vegetable in the beef noodles soup. With Mr. Ding's creativity, the beef noodles soup was added more credits with the flavor and the color. 
今天我們算是來的早,所以沒什麼等待,當我們就定位,很多人就站在外面等了。此外,我們還偷聽別人麵還可以加蛋,而且不少人這樣點,還有不少人點水餃。下次都想試看看!大家如果住在附近可以來光顧一下喔!
We didn't spend much time waiting because we went to the restaurant quite early. However, by the time we finished ordering, there were so many people lining up outside waiting for seats. Besides, we overheard quite many guests requesting for adding an egg in the beef noodles soup, and lots of guests ordered beef dumplings. We want to try them all next time! 
It's indeed a 5-star beef noodles soup restaurant.  Highly recommended!! 
 
二訪經驗:
這次重點放在吃雞腿麵。下面是完整餐點。
 小菜還是很有味道,這是點了豬耳朵,微微辣很好吃。
這是雞腿麵,湯頭是一般的高湯。重點是這隻雞腿炸的很好吃,酥酥的,喜歡吃酥酥雞腿的可以點。我們都吃的很開心。
